Has anyone been a victim to screen burn in? I can ever so slightly see the ghost of the facebook UI and keyboard burnt in the screen. This seemed to have happened recently as I have never noticed it before, I don't leave the screen on for long periods of time.

I haven't had that issue but I did notice that the S5 display units at the Verizon store I purchased mine from (back in May or June) had screen burn-in. Then again, they loop through the same video demos over and over again while leaving the status bar at the top and some other icon on the bottom the whole time.

Edit: have you tried playing one of those long YouTube videos that are supposed to "fix" stuck pixels? It might be worth a shot.

I've given it a shot for a couple of hours but have not really noticed a difference. I've not noticed this issue until a couple of days a go, I never leave my phone on for long periods

Try leaving it on a 100% plain white background overnight on charge, screen on - see if that burns away the FB UI and keyboard burn in

Seem to have had no luck in the hours I have run the screen fix tools. I don't understand it. I just remember waking up one morning and noticing it. I am sure the screen is always off at night.

How many hours are you leaving the white screen on (or playing one of those fix videos)? From what I have read, it can take a good 10-12 hours before anything is actually fixed. That's assuming that the burn-in can be removed.

If this happened to the iPhone it would be a big news scandal. I have left my iPhone 6 screen on all night on the non sleep mode without problems. I too have noticed this problem on the S5''s that I have looked at at best buys and verizon stores. What's interesting is that the iPhone's that are left on all day are fine, no burn in issues. But all the samesuns even the notes have a burn in issue in the screen.
