So I've had this problem a couple times already. It just recently happened after watching about a 10 minute YouTube video with the screen on. I switch to snapchat which was an all white background and I could see still the image of youtube burned into the screen. It seems like after a while it disappears but does anyone know why is this happening?

It's called image retention and its nothing to be worried about as it is temporary.

It's the same as your eyes... go to a web page wth black text on a white background and look at it for a bit. Then switch out to an all white background. What do you see? That's analogous to what is going on with the screen. As long as the retained image fades (you are basically looking at a negative image of whatever was on the screen) there is nothing to be concerned with.
