Just got the TF today. Charged it updated it... After the update, the screen is completely unresponsive.

When it isn't attached to the keyboard I can only turn it on/off, reboot it, and adjust the volume; that's it.

A google search shows a couple of other instances of this happening after the most recent update, but nothing of note on how to fix it.

Any ideas?

Man, bummer for you. You have been waiting so long for your tranformer and now this....

when it's attached to your keyboard (assuming you have one....from how you worded your post) can you go into setting and do a factory reset?

:( I agree, dude, that's a shame...I've read about others having the issue too. I hope you can get it fixed without returning it for a replacement, which is what I think I read someone else was doing. :-\

Update, I got it to work after a good deal more of futzing.

I tried multiple reboots, which did nothing. I then did a factory reset (using the keyboard.) That didn?t help either.

Finally, I just tried powering it off (tap the power button, then clicking OK) waited about 10 seconds then turned it back on and it started working again. It?s been working fine since then.

I did submit an email to ASUS support describing it all. I haven?t heard back from them, but from looking around it?s happening enough that they should already be aware of it. Hopefully they get a fix out shortly.

Glad I have the keyboard or I would have been completely screwed (couldn?t have even clicked ?OK? to power it down.)
