My Galaxy Note 8 "out of the blue" had a phone dial keypad screen appear and the phone screen froze. The "back," "home" and "menu' and drop down buttons also failed to function.
I have re-started the device several times, including allowing it to sit several minutes before turning off and several minutes before re-starting. I have tried this with charger connected and disconnected
Currently when it starts the phone keypad screen appears over the basic 'locked" home screen - i.e. the screen I need to swipe.
A swipe will not activate the device, nor will any of the control buttons work.
Any advice?
