Screen dead

Well, my Xoom's screen is dead. I have literally no idea what happened too. And the screen IS dead, not just powered off or locked up. I was going to try a warranty claim but the bootloader is unlocked and it has a custom rom on it as well. I do know however that it is hardware and not software related. Any ideas on what I can do to save this thing?

Have you tried holding power and volume up for a soft reset? Make sure its charged and then try that.

Yep. I actually let it die (didn't charge it for 2 weeks), then I put it in its dock. The charging LED came on like it was off, then it turned off after a few minutes. So it definitely did turn on, just the screen didn't. Also, the notification LED blinks when I get a email and it stops when I power the screen "on".
