Screen dims when text message received

Anyone ever had this issue? I contacted Sammy support and they had me boot into Safe Mode and text myself which resulted in not getting the problem. What's odd is that I haven't installed any third party SMS programs and use stock though I did move Google Talk to a screen the other day, but it comes pre-installed.. Just seems odd .

Try going into Settings>Display and make sure Auto adjust screen tone is un-checked.
