screen draining too much battery?

I just got my LG G3 last week and upgraded to Lolipop. My battery drains so fast. I understand it's a large screen and that takes a lot of battery, but the scteen is usually at 65-70% of the battery usage, which I feel is high. I have been keeping it at 30% brightness. The other apps are at 7% and below on usage. I was watching it go down 1% every two minutes today. Did a factory reset and doesn't seem to be helping. Did I get a lemon or is this the life of the G3?

Welcome to Android Central! If the screen is on non-stop, then it wouldn't be surprising that it uses that much battery. The important question is how much screen-on time you get with one charge.
