Screen flickering on Google search

I'm glad to read it isn't a device issue, I've now experienced this a few times myself.

Adding I noticed it first in light mode for what it's worth.

That is a great test to find out where the problem is. It seems that Pixels running Android 11 don't have that problem. Maybe because they are running 11 or maybe because they have a different version of the Google app.

I think you're on to something! I switched to beta today and it's not flickering right now.

Same thing happening on my Ultra. The Feed doesn't flicker but soon as I do a search the results flicker. I'm not too worried it's just the app, they'll fix it.

I was using the Note 20 Ultra.

A: Settings
B: Apps
C: Android System Web View
D : 3 Dots (Top Right Corner)
E : Uninstall Updates

Simple enough, plus you could disable auto update on it until it's confirmed to be fixed if that's the culprit. Since it's intermittent for me I'm not positive it worked but I tried a couple searches that were flickering maybe 30" ago and it seems OK.

Yep I get it occasionally with the google app going through the news feed. Not a big deal really, I knew it was the app as it doesn't happen anywhere else. I'm sure it'll be corrected with an app update..
