screen flickering problems galaxie note pro 12.2 problem resolved

One other thing I’ve noticed is the flickering starts whenever I get on the net and go to a site that has pop-ups and/or scrolling (GIF-like) images. It happens on Netflix (scroll across the top of the screen pimping movies and the various series) as well as this site.

Just posted this fix in the other thread, it worked for me. The app "note pro screensaver" wouldn't run without flickering a ton, until I did this. Some videos also wouldn't play without flickering (like the ones in businessweek).

Enable developer options in settings (go to about device and tap Build Number 7+ times).

In developer options, under hardware-accelerated rendering, check "turn off hardware overlays". You can also check "force GPU rendering", but I've found the former is all that's necessary.

I just did a search because I have had this problem, thanks for the information. Have you had any success in receiving help from Samsung. I have had a headache EVERY TIME I have dealt with them.

Samsung 10.1 tablet

My samsung 10.1 flickered several times and went off now it is not able to be turned back on. I have tried the power button and the volume down button. I have tried everything. What do I need to do?
