Screen get dim in e-mail screen

Facing problem to read my mail on default mail software of Galaxy Note 2.

Is there any way to change the font color & change the background?

Please help!!

I don't think there is a way for the default mail app to change background color. I believe there are 2 versions. The international Note II gets the mail app with black background and the Note II in the US gets the mail app with white background. Do you have the international version? You could do "Negative Colors" under Settings -> Accessibility but then everything will be reversed... not sure if that would be ideal.

Yes I m having international version. Now I got a solution by adding a mail widget on the main screen & there is showing brighter color which is workable for me. Anyway thanks for your response.

Go to Power saving mode and turn off Background color. This setting dims the browser and mail app
