Screen: How are the whites?

I have 2 year old original EVO and comparing it's whites to the Note 2's whites are day and night. The Note 2 is noticeably grey. I tried adjusting the brightness and the setting the has Dynamic/Normal/Movie,etc. and it still looked grey. My Note 2 is on order, so I won't get it for a few days, but I'm disappointed with the display.

On a good 'Note', pun intended. The size was hard to leave go of. It made my og EVO look downright puny and felt very comfortable in my hand. I'm 5'1".

Screen is one of the biggest selling points. It's absolutely beautiful.
