Screen is dead

Hello, while grocery shopping today the screen on my S21+ 5G just went black. I thought the phone was dead but saw that it was still working when I got out to my car and it connected to Bluetooth. I could make calls and text using Android auto but the screen stayed black. Has anyone experienced this before and what is the fix?

Yes, this just happened to my son's Note20 ultra. Out of the blue it went black but was still working. There was no cracks or any damage to the screen or phone; was in perfect condition except the screen was black. The fix was having the screen replaced by uBreakiFix. After spending $295 (no insurance), the phone works perfectly.

Yeah been some complaints from various Samsung devices, and like mentioned above the screen needed replacement.

This is exactly what happened, I will it to UbreakIfix and they replaced the screen.
