Screen Issue

my DInc has been having some screen issues. On a few occasions it will not respond to touch in cetain areas and on the home screeens it would scroll from one screen to another back and forth on it's own. on the app menue it just goes wherever it wants. i've been able to correct this by shutting the phone down and powering it back up. Today, the vibration while touching keys went away and came back but did it again a few times.

Anyboy else having this problem? Should i contact verizon and get another one? i don't have many apps installed and i'm still running the stock UI.

Try cleaning the optical joystick. That might explain some if the erratic behavior.

1st question, are you using it indoors or outside where it's cold? The touch seems to get jumpy if exposed to cold weather for a while...

Next thing you can try is a screen calibration... Menu - Settings - Language and Keyboard - Touch Input - Text Input - Calibration Tool (You can also check to see if "Vibrate When Typing" is selected or not...

it's happend randomly when i'm inside. the only exposure to cold is waiting for the car to warm up. as for the vibrate when typing, that's on and has alway been on.

i'll give it a shot. what about the haptic feedback issue? any ideas?
