Screen Lock Question

I just came back to Android with a S21 so I'm a little rusty. When I set up Microsoft Launcher it caused my dbl tap to lock the screen to become a full lock requiring your pin to unlock. I went back to the stock launcher because of this. My question is if I use Nova Launcher is it going to do the same thing as Microsoft Launcher?

Welcome to the forums. With Nova launcher you can select Accessibility as Screen Lock Method. This way you can unlock with FPS or facial recognition after using the double tap to lock.

Try Nova launcher then. I've been using that accessibility option in Android 9, 10 and 11.

Set up Nova today. No problems. Using the home button for lock screen. Very nice!!
