Any chance of this feature coming to the note 4?

I am in the process of making my Note 4 self aware.

I also wonder if samsung does not allow the note 4 to have this feature; if an app developer could make it work?

I hopeful the N4 will get it. That would be an extremely helpful tool for me to just start writing as soon as the s pen comes out and jot down a few notes.

Honestly, that's the only feature from the N5 that impressed me the most. Everything else is meh imo.

It's not exactly the same, but you can set your S-Pen eject action to launch "Action Memo" right away instead of Air Command so you can start writing as soon as you pull out your S-Pen.

Settings > Device > S-Pen > Detachment options > Action-memo

It's not as novel as writing while the screen is off but it's exactly the same functionality.

I agree. In fact, even if we select None, we can still open Access Memo when we pull out our SPen, hold the button on the pen, and tap the screen twice simultaneously. The only difference really with the Note 5 is that you get to write on a dark screen. I currently have both phones.
