Screen On and Off On The Dell Venue 8 7840 Tablet.

I've tried various apps to avoid using the power button on the Dell Venue 8 7840 - Auto Screen On Off, Screen Off and Lock, Tap Tap App, etc. - and the results have varied from partial success to total failure. So far, the best solution I have found is to install Daniel Kao's Auto Screen On Off (Smart Cover) app but not enable it. I place the Screen Off widget in the dock and enable the tablet's Wake Up feature (Display>Wake up). Pressing the Screen Off button turns the screen off and Intel's Sensing Assist feature turns the screen on due to motion. If anyone has a better solution, please let me know.

You can use greenify for locking that has other benefits as well.
After updating my Dell 7840 to Lollipop 5.0.1, the Wake up feature does not work any more, I am looking for a solution too.
