Screen: Portrait - Landscape settings

Is there a portrait/landscape screen orientation setting? When viewing the Tab in landscape orientation, several apps continue to display sideways in portrait orientation. Is this a limitation of specific apps, or a setting on my S8? Is there an app that allows changing screen orientation on the fly?
