I just noticed that the screen protector on the inside screen is now coming off. it is separating at the top part of the fold and descends to just above the midway point.

Has anyone taken off the screen protector and not have any issues?

Do they sell replacements?

I would hate to have to send it in and lose it for a couple months.

I have same problem. Still not take off the screen protector, but think that this is just screen protector and can be replaced. Will go next week to samaung store and ask to change it.

My screen protector is cracking in the fold. I noticed a small crack a few weeks ago and it has grown quite a bit now.

My wife's screen protector has lifted across the entire crease. Yay. I have a Samsung center close by plus an even closer Ubreakifix, but it is a hassle. My Fold 3 is just starting to lift at the crease as well. I may trade it in on a S22 Ultra.

I just got mine fixed yesterday. It was working it's way down but then most of it went away after a while.

I called Samsung and they found an ubreakifix about 90 minutes away. They had to replace the entire screen and they can do it in one day IF they have a screen in stock. Luckily I did.

I made a post amor my when when it started messing up in the beginning

We have in the house 2 Galaxy Flip 4G's and 2 Galaxy Flip 3's.
The one Flip 3 that was only purchased last August (2021) displayed a bubble at the left side of the crease and within 24 hours spread right across the screen. I found that you could push down on the crease and it seemingly held it down for a while. Subsequently bubbles appeared both sides of the crease.
I contacted Samsung who arranged for WeFix (in the UK) who came to my home and replaced the whole screen along with a new battery. This took just over an hour.

Well it looks like my flip 3 will be spending the majority of it's time open when I'm home. Since I work from home that will be a good portion of the time. The only time I'll be folding it is when it goes in a pocket... so I'll be treating it like a non-folding phone for the most part. I only got it to fit my pockets better anyway.

Hopefully that'll get it to last for more than 7-8 months

Yeah I do the same. Fold it when I'm carrying it around outside. I usually keep it open when I'm home. Although it looks cool when folded shut on a table too.

I was having buyers remorse when I first bought my Z Flip 3, my instincts were telling me not to get it because of the new folding screen technology, but I wanted a modern version of a flip phone because they're just so easy to carry in a pocket :p I'm going to make it last as long as I can but I probably won't be getting another folding phone... at least until they come up with a better design.

The majority of folks I'm reading about, from many sources, are averaging about 8 months of use out of their Folds and Flips before the screen protectors are peeling off or the screens themselves are cracking. And Samsung is giving folks major problems honoring the warranty to fix the problems... as expected :( I'm extremely easy on phones so I'll probably be able to get quite a bit of life out of mine... but I won't be owning another phone I can't trust the screen on. I'll be heading back to a slab when the pixel 7 comes out. Maybe I'll get a nice trade in on the Flip if I don't use it too much ;)

I should of picked up a pixel 6 instead of the Flip 3.... but I'm a sucker for a good sale, sucker being the key word here lol.

Don't peel it off, but bring it to Samsung. They should give you one free

Do you have to part with it for awhile once you bring it in for a screen protector replacement? Or do you just wait and they do it on the spot? Curious!

I believe UBreakIFix is a certified Samsung repair center, everyone says it's a quick fix, you take it in and wait a few minutes and it's done. Some folks on here have replaced their protector themselves and said it was pretty easy. Someone even posted up an instructional video.

It seems like this will be a common problem with foldable phones. Trying to bend a very thin piece of glass and a screen protector in half isn't easy. Problems are going to arise. One of the reasons I'll stay away from them.

I have four Flip phones. One purchased in August 2021 being a Flip 3 had a new screen fitted in March 2022. I am now having yet another repair for the same problem in that the screen in the area of the crease appears to be separating.

I just see this as a continual problem until they create some new technology or material. If you continuously bend something, it will eventually break. Just common sense.

The original that came with the phone lasted close to a year, and overall quite satisfied with that performance, especially since I flip and use it alot.

I've decided on getting the Whitestone Dome replacement, I've read good things about it. Getting it this week and will report back after using it for a few weeks.
