Screen Protector - P7 Pro

I had the regular pixel 6 and the protectors were really hit and miss, especially in regards to the fingerprint sensor. The glue protectors just seem to work better, but are more designed for the pros. I had some luck with the Spigen protector and film protectors.....maybe an option?

Yeah, gonna try others. Too bad cuz the IMBZBK applies perfectly, got rid of all bubbles, and fits nicely.

Good luck!! The flat screen protectors can be a challenge.

I did see a couple "hybrid" protectors which apply like film, but are "designed" to be a little tougher. Just a thought.

Update on my P7 and IMBZBK - I removed all FPs and re-registered my right thumb twice at different angles. It seems to work better. Gonna go with this for awhile.

I just put this funny-named screen protector (IMBZBK) on 2 phones. It couldn't be any better. The video walks you through all the steps. The results are excellent. I still have one to use in case I need it.

For the 7 pro? It works great, doesn't it?

Did you notice any weird screen marks ?

It's early. Disregard. I haven't had a cup of coffee yet.

I went ahead and ordered the Whitestone Dome. At $32 shipped (USA) for a 2-pack including the UV lamp, it's a lot cheaper than I remember it being for the last phone for which I'd bought it.

That *is* a really good price! Good for you! Keep us posted on how installation goes and how it's holding up! :)

With a 2-pack of the glass, 1-pack of the camera film, and the UV light for $40, or just a 1-pack of the glass for $35, the larger pack is a no-brainer. Site offers a 10% discount via the banner ad, but using code "THANKYOU21" gets you 20% (if you haven't used that code before). Only downside is that they're a bit backed up on shipping - new orders placed now won't likely ship until end of October or beginning of November - but still worth it, IMO.

Whitestone Dome P7P

Just put on WhiteStone....flawless. Put it on in a steamy bathroom, did not remove the current TPU protector until the phone was masked (taped) and in the jig. Used a can of compressed air to make sure all the dust was off. It comes with an upper speaker protector. I used that but first carefully covered the speaker with the tape. Used fingernail to ensure the tape was intimately attached on all sides. Put the glue on, then protector, tilted jig and let glue run a bit below the middle. Took out the pin holding the glass up and held on to the edge of the screen to slowly lower it as the glue spread. After about 45 seconds the glue made it to the top and I started curing. 2 of three fingerprints work fine. Left thumb never worked that well so I re-entered it. I have an app to double tap the screen to sleep/lock and I have to tap harder. I may turn up the sensitivity, we'll see. Spigen Thin Fit went on without any interference or lifting of the glass. When I put the phone face down I can slide 8 thickness of paper under the screen...the case still affords plenty of relief for the glass. The SuperSheildz TPU really was quite nice, but I am glad to get glass again.

Never tried streamy bathroom with whitestone but never had a bad install with them

Re: Whitestone Dome P7P

Never done steamy bathroom as the installation has always been flawless for me. Best screen protector hands down.

Re: Whitestone Dome P7P

The only part of the install procedure is having to tilt the guide/phone combo to make the loca "move" towards the center until it touches the protector. This is a very bad design and needs to be altered due to the possibility of a real mistake. For the money I think Whitestone needs to revisit and redesign the loca application procedure! YMMV

Do you think user should put the loca in middle first?. That's what I would do beside tilt.

Fat finger can make the liquid goes Nascar.

Re: Whitestone Dome P7P

That is my concern also that if you have shaky hands you might send the very thin loca all over the sides instead! The guide that comes with the kit, according to the videos, has a bridge that snaps into the guide for applying the loca and it is NOT in the center! So if you decide to place it in the center then you have to be careful when lowering the protector into the guide as it might hit the loca prematurely, not to mention you have to apply it freehand...so it's up to you! YMMV
