Screen Protector Recommendations?

I think I need to get a screen protector for my GNex. I was looking at the ZAGG invisible shield for it, but I was wondering if it noticeably changed the feel of the screen. I had a generic AT&T one for my captivate, and I loved it because it kept the screen smooth, just like it was before. I have felt ones that make it not as easy to swipe over, etc. I was wondering what the invisible shield was like. If it's not that good, can you recommend a better one?

Skinomi from Amazon. For $6 it feels much better than ghost armor/zagg/ etc etc and lifetime replacement, plus go check out all the youtube videos of their stuff.

It's high quality stuff for a very very good price. I can't say enough about them

I'm using a cheap less than $2 screen protector from EBay until I get to the Ghost Armor kiosk down home. The guys there do a great job at applying them. Totally worth the installation fee.

Why is it that Zagg is the first brand thought of when it comes to skins? There are plenty of other brands with less orange peel and a smoother feel. Skinomi, phantom, body guardz...
Plus, most of them are cheaper. Please explain this to me.

Brand recognition usually can justify a higher price.

xoskins, very smooth, takes 3-4 days to fully cure and it is completely invisible and strong.

i have zagg on mine and im returning it because it doesnt work well with my case. The edges and corners are lifting up around the screen. Any of the others work well with cases?

I like the screen protection cover of the otter box. Also, has the drop protection with the layers of encasing. I'm terrible with decals. Plain and simply can't get the bubbles out of it.

I like Zagg and use them for all my gadgets. There is sometimes a rainbow line effect on the screen however.

I use both zagg and xo skins my vote would be for the xo skins no rainbow effect.

Got my Skinomi skin applied on my Galaxy Nexus. It's been 4 days now.

I had to tell people it was on, several people couldn't tell it was there.

Screen quality doesn't suffer, everything still looks awesome.

The fit is great, it covers the entire screen perfectly.

When the screen is off you can see a subtle orange peel effect but it doesn't affect anything negatively.

The feel is the best feel I've ever experienced from a screen protector. It has a slight rubber feel but you can still slide your finger effortlessly across the screen. Its obviously not as good as the glass, you have to make your touches slightly more pronounced to register whereas with the glass you barely had to touch the screen, sometimes the phone would register touches even without touching it as the electric current jumped from finger to screen but those instances are gone with a screen protector.

Overall the Skinomi skin seems to be a good match for the galaxy nexus.

This +9001. The skinomi is definitely over 9000. I'll never buy another brand. It's invisible, feels like glass, and doesn't detract at all from the screen.

I use the xo skin. Very smooth when compared to ghost armor and best skins ever. I did end up getting a piece of lint under the screen which is bugging me! I might try the skinomi just to try it.

Just installed the Skinomi and all I can say is "WOW" you can barely tell its there and installation was a breeze.

ZAGG has crazy orange peel and looks terrible. I haven't had any issues with my Skinomi. but XO Skin would be the best.

I installed the screen protector that came with my OtterBox Commuter case.

It seems pretty good, but for those who are unaware, it doesn't cover the entire surface. It's just a generic protector that covers roughly 80% of the screen. No cut-outs for the speaker or camera because it doesn't reach that high. I pretty much centred it and it's fine.

I'll make due for now, seems pretty decent. Still collects fingerprints though, albeit not as much as the bare glass would. Until it comes time to replace it with a "Best Skins Ever", I'm pretty happy with it.

What ever you do, don't watch the OtterBox youtube video on how to apply the screen protector.

for those of you who bought the Skinomi skin, did you purchase the one with the applicator spray or the DryTech version? (links below)

Skinomi TechSkin - Samsung Galaxy Nexus Skin Protector

or

Skinomi DryTech - Samsung Galaxy Nexus Skin Protector

I'm just curious if the applicator spray makes it easier to apply the skin without trapping air bubbles under the protector. I'm usually very meticulous and careful with this stuff, but for some reason I can never get a screen protector on without at least 1 bubble getting trapped. Any suggestions on which one is better or easier to install? Thanks

Get the one where you apply wet... its a lot easier to apply and you can always fix it when its not aligned... only downside is to leave it turned off for the night so make sure youre not expecting any important calls that night.
