Screen protector removal

I've just had the battery replaced in my S8 and also had a new case and screen protector fitted. It didn't have one of those before.

Sadly this has rendered parts of the screen useless especially the lower-right where the keys now need a very heavy push to activate so I don't have much choice but to take it off again. It isn't just a case of "getting used to it", for example the letter O and the backspace keys barely work at all.

It's quite thick and doesn't come away easily at the edges. I've read up on this and it looks like I'll have to invest in a cheap hairdryer to heat it slightly to help get it off again.

Just wondered if anyone has ever gone through this before with one of these phones and has any tips before I wade into it.. thanks :)

Ask the people who installed the screen protector without being ask to do it to remove it. (Or did you ask for it? If you did, be very careful to not overheat the screen - keep the hair dryer moving, and heat the entire screen.)
