The glue requires ultra violet light to activate it. You can't use yourself to the device.
that sounds like a nightmare. the last thing I want to do is damage my screen in the process of trying to prevent damage!
Have a Zagg Glass Fusion waiting for installation on my Note 20 Ultra upon arrival. Also used one on my Note 10+ when the factory protector finally failed. Good news is that on the Note 20 Ultra protector Zagg got rid of the black border around the camera cutout that gave a notch-like effect on the Note 10+ Zagg protector. The Note 10+ Zagg protector was not as good as the factory one for the fingerprint sensor reads but was otherwise responsive. I ended up relying on Smart Lock wherever I could.

Thanks for the input. Was hoping it would come with factory but didnt so may run to best buy and get one. Using the shipping film until i get one

I have the exact same protector and mine doesn't work either.
. I ordered a WhiteStone Dome this morning. Not only does the ESR not work as advertised but the very visible circle over the fp reader stinx. I'd have tolerated the ugly circle for the sake of a well-working fp reader but now it's just an unjustified eye-sore.

I have the exact same protector and mine doesn't work either.. I ordered a WhiteStone Dome this morning. Not only does the ESR not work as advertised but the very visible circle over the do reader stinx. I'd have tolerated the ugly circle for the sake of a well-working fp reader but now it's just an unjustified eye-sore.
I ordered this same one, arriving today, and I didn't realize it had that circle. I won't put it on now even if it DID work. My phone comes tomorrow. Not sure what I'll put on the glass now. I wouldn't mind paying for the Whitestone Dome but I tried several of those on my S10+ and could never get the FPS to work. Occasionally it would but mostly it didn't, unless I wet my finger first.

I put the Ringke on as a temporary solution until Whitestone gets here. I did a rush job so I have bubbles but the FPS works great. This is good one for those that don't want glass.

No it is not, it's something they put on the underside of the glass to ensure the fp reader works. Only...it does not work...at all. Not even a little tiny bit.

Any issue with this screen protector using the FPS?

No, that stupid circle is actually thicker than the rest of the glass and appears to have messy sticky glue. Just awful.
