What is a good case friendly screen protector? I tried installing a spigen case friendly screen protector. It was anything but.

Just curious as to a good, wet application type protector. This note 8 is my wife's phone and doesn't like tempered glass.

Thanks!

I've always used IQ Shields, and I'm not sure why they just don't learn, but their first versions are always just too close to the edges for Spigen cases (granted, this usually happens with Spigen cases, so it might also be on their end by hugging the screen too far). This year IQ came out with Version 1 which they say should work with more 'agressive' cases and Version 2 which extends closer to the edges and might not work with thicker cases. I haven't tested them since I've received neither phone nor protector yet, but that's their claim.

Good thing about IQ is that should the edges lift on installation, because of the case, or if they update their design, they replace the film as many times as needed forever and ever.

I'm not sure about a bet application screen protector but I bought a tempered glass screen protector from Verizon and it fits perfectly and looks great.

I've been using the "case friendly" neo flex by spigen, and everyone is astounded that I have the phone and it doesn't look like anything is on it... I always use their products... but I also like tech armor and skinomi

How does the S-Pen work with the Spigen Neo Flex? Is there a lot of drag/resistance when trying to write something?

I'm waiting for my Verizon store to have the Zagg screen protectors in.

I also have the neo flex on mine and there is a bit of drag. Not terrible except when the pen is straight down. It doesn't seem like it'll tear or anything, just like using a dead ball point lol

Try changing pen tips. There used to be extra tips in different colors. One color worked better with plastic protectors. With that being said, I don't remember if that applied to a Note phone or one of my Note tablets.

I've always had luck with Xtremeguard. Currently using it on my IPhone 7plus and had it on my Note 7 and my 2 S7 Edge. Pretty happy with them. They always seem to have a good sale on them. Waiting to see when they will have it for the N8.

Ill look when I get home. It isn't too horrible honestly as I usually have the pen on an angle. I'll also say I'm using a spigen ultra hybrid case and the protector was a pia to align correctly. It's tight in all dimensions but I got it working right!

Took my screen protector of and returned it to Verizon. $35 back in my pocket. I've never been able to keep a screen protector on a phone, but I always try with a new device. I just can't stand them. And I have never shattered a screen our gotten anything more than micro scratches.

I was reading another forum post and someone used the Spigen Neo Flex, they said it was not a good experience but a few hours later they edited their post saying they didn't give it enough time to dry and that it worked great.

I was the same. Never a broken phone/screen or major scratch since the Galaxy S2. Then I dropped my S7 Edge and it shattered. Better safe than sorry, so now I at least do a wet-install thin-film. Not happy with how tempered glass looks on curved edges or the raised-screen feel.

My case has always saved me in those situations. Never really needed a screen protector. Like I said, I always buy them to start but they never last for me.
