Anyone using a screen protector or naked? If using a screen protector, which one recommended?

I don' see many options for the Galaxy Watch, so I'm interested in a tempered glass one that is highly recommended also.

I ordered the Supershieldz tempered glass 2 pack. Should be here tomorrow. Hopefully they are ok.

That is the one in my wish list now, so I'm very interested in your feedback on it. I saw on a video that you have to turn on touch sensitivity with it but it's fine after that.

Its a 46 mm circle so the S3 protectors should work. Can't alter the dimensions of a circle or it would be an oval.

Let us know. I heard since 46 mm that the screen protectors for the gear S3 will work also.

Got the watch and the Shieldz today. Immediately took watch out, took off both protective films and installed the protector, went on perfect. Have been using the watch since noon, I love this thing, miles ahead of the MOTO 360 1st Gen I had. Back to the protector, I like it, touch sensitivity is good. it is very close to edge to edge coverage. Just checked, my touch sensitivity is off, and it works perfectly.

Rounded edges or rough squared off edges?

This is my first smartwatch, is a screen protector really necessary?

Had my Gear S3 for two years. No screen protector and it didn't get scratched. This is coming from someone who always uses a screen protector on his phone.

Is it necessary? I dunno. I'd say it's less necessary than on your phone. You're not going to drop your watch, and you're more likely to scratch the watch's bezel than you are the screen. But if people have some good screen protector recommendations, I might try one out anyway.

Good to know. Thank you.

I would agree a screen protector on the watch is less necessary than on a phone. Also, the glass on this is supposed to be stronger (it's Gorilla glass) so if you were good with the S3, you should definitely be good with this one.

I ordered the Orzero 3 pack of tempered glass protectors for the 42mm. Went on perfectly and no problems with touch sensitivity. It was $6.99 for 3. They also have curved edges so you dont even notice its on.

The only reason I put a protector on this is that my last smartwatch was the MOTO 360 1st gen, rocked it without a protector and it has tons of microscratches on it. I think the glass on the MOTO was not as good as the newer glass. I rocked my NOTE8 raw dog for a year and it has no scratches. The only reason my NOTE9 has one on it is I got them for free.

I got one with some metal bands I got today so I threw it on. I am not sure how but I seem to always be banging my watch hand into things. I had a protector on my s2 classic and it got 2 big chips in it, if that had been the actual watch face I would have been sad xD

I thought I heard the watches use sapphire glass which is more resistant to scratches. Never had one on my s3 and after a year there was no scratches. I did however scratch the bezel.

It's Gorilla Glass 3. Not as strong as sapphire but stronger than previous generations.
