Screen Protector

Just got my Pixel back from Google after having the boot loop repaired and it came back without my SP (as expected).
My question is has anyone gone without one and how is your screen holding up?
At this stage it's hard to find one for a 2016 phone and I'm thinking of going without until the P4 comes up. Thanks

I wouldn't think of using a naked phone. Get yourself a LifeProof case. It's watertight and looks good. You can still get one on Amazon too.

Thanks. I was looking at that one but the reviews claim it cracks easily.
The protector I had before I sent my phone in was great. Verizon installed it for me back in 2016 when I bought the phone but I don't know who the vendor was.

I've never had a screen protector. I use a case occasionally, but not all that much. Keep the phone in a pocket by itself. There's some wear on the back glass, but otherwise the phone is pristine, including the screen. My family thinks I'm weird for not using a case and screen protector. It's not like I baby the phone, I just treat it like the $700 computer that it is.

Funnily enough, when I bought the phone, the sales rep said they "wouldn't let someone leave the store without a case and screen protector"for their phone. I replied as politely as I could that I could either leave with a new naked phone or just leave. Some people love cases and screen protectors. I can't stand them. As they add too much bulk. I've gone case-less, for the most part, since my first Droid Eris.

I always use a case of some type, but have never used a screen protector and never had an issue with any screen damage. My phone gets it's own pocket, but otherwise I just treat it normally. Most good cases also offer some screen protection with a lip around the screen that does a very good job at protecting the screen during a fall.

You can pick up an OtterBox Defender cheap on Amazon if you want a screen protector and super tough case all in one. I picked one up for 8 bucks. I have 5 different cases I picked up cheap..... and they are all brand name cases, no junk. Still tons of choices out there for our phones ;-)

I also have several cases and I'm currently using a caseology and I do keep my phone separate from keys etc. I tend to baby my phones and this one just has to get me through the next 9 months so I'm leaning towards not using a screen protector.
I'll pick up the Spigen recommended above and if I don't like it I'll just do without.
I'm mostly interested in the experiences of those who aren't using a screen protector..
Thanks all

I haven't had a Screen Protector on mine in awhile.
I haven't noticed any scratches on mine, its just the only thing in that pocket.
So the Screen looks good

I do have it in a lite TPU type case tho
