Screen Protectors

Just got a tagg glass screen protector for my Pixel. Has a halo around the edges...... S7 all over again. Can't stand it lol.
Why can't they make them to fit phones with curves. Pretty sure there has been glass screen protectors with curves for galaxy edges before.....why not other phones..

I stopped using screen protectors years ago (~2011). Didn't have any problems. Last year I bought the RhinoShield as a package with the CrashGuard bumper. It's a plastic cover that installs very easily. If you believe their videos, you can hit the screen with a hammer. I've never used a TGSP. So I can't compare.

Been using best buy screen protector for a few years now. Using it on my pixel as well.

Best Buy has a screen protector for the Pixel? Do you still have the box? If so, can you take a picture of it?

Got the phone yesterday, put on a Super Shieldz Glass screen protector. It does have about an 0.095" gap that doesn't cover the screen. It does just cover every part of the screen that lights up in the sides and covers most of the forehead and chin (similar gap). With case on, the gap is basically protected between the lip of the case and the screen protector. My wife has an iPhone 6+ and all (she broke 4 so far) of the screen protectors (multiple brands) that I have put on her's has a similar gap and the screen never seems to see the damage in the gap area. I got them for like $8 for two on Amazon. They are better than nothing, but although they say they are anti-fingerprint, I have had better in that respect.

Any update? :)
So far seals good and slots aligned correctly. It covers all of viewable display but does not go to the edges. Around 2mm gap on all sides. As they stated I assume since glaas on edges is slightly curved so would not stick/stay down. I am happy with them.

I got the Zagg Glass+ from the store I bought the phone from, just so I would have somehting to put straight on, it is awful, tiny, leaves acres of space around all sides and still manages to have a halo. Rubbish. Are there any with decent coverage yet? I would even rather a full coverage film until someone gets the tempered glass right. Any recommedations from people with phone and screen protector installed?

Even Google wants us to buy these protectors smh...

Folks at intelliARMOR responded back to my inquiry saying they were developing their intelliGLASS HD PRO for the Pixel XL. On my Nexus 6, that version was the only one I found that was pretty much edge-to-edge (leaving less than 1mm uncovered on the sides) and no lift, gap, or halo despite the 2d curvature. Hoping for the same with the one for the Pixel XL.

I hope the pro is better than the regular intelliglasshd pro. This protector is horrible. It's even more narrow than the protector I wanted to replace it with.
