Hi all, i love the device but i think the screen is dim, or not as bright as i expected. I switched off adaptive brightness and still... Dim for me (i had iphone 5s). Anyone feel the same ? Any solutions ?

Hi, at what percentage do you have brightness set? Unless you turn your brightness up all the way, there's no comparing the Nexus brightness to that of the iPhone. The Nexus' hues are warmer, so whites will tend to look cream-colored, as opposed to crisp bright white like on the iPhone, so it looks dimmer. The higher the brightness, the more saturated. Such is the case with AMOLED screens.

It might just be the difference in screen types. All the Amoled screens I have had are more dim than say LCD screens.

Which device are you using and whats the OS on the device. It might the make of the device just a simple adjustment might be needed.
 
I use nexus 6 android L 5.0.1 brightness level 100% all the time. As you guys say, its probeblly the AMOLD and im not use to it...
 
That's def an amoled thing. The screen looks way better than iPhone however you can not expect it to get as bright.
