You seem to think doing ANYTHING at best buy is a good affordable investment.

I didn’t say anything about investments. I was having a holy cow moment with the price of the screen repair. I better be careful with mine.... It doesn’t leave the house though and I don’t use a case, even though I own 2. I use my ip8 mostly, which I bought AppleCare+ for.

they want 389 here in Canada where i am. Really start to question if you should just shell out the additional for another phone at that point.

I haven't personally had mine replaced but I have replaced the screen on another person's screen. Please don't crack the screen because it is very expensive. We charged like 400 bucks for the entire repair job.

It's bad in Canada, you could probably sell a s8 with a broken screen for that price too.

I broke the screen of my first s8 about a month ago. I have insurance, and my carrier simply replaced my phone rather than repaired it. Now I see why.

I had my cracked screen replaced by Samsung for $70 including shipping both ways. They replaced the front and back glass. Don't ask me why it was so cheap. https://youtu.be/jNXMWOklPNE
