I've been having issues with rotating my screen with my S7E. It seems like the sensors are not working for some reason. When I rotate the phone the screen orientation does not change. I've realized it's a bit better when rotating right, but even than I can never get the screen back to portrait unless I lock and unlock portrait mode settings.

Anyone know of any steps to troubleshoot, or any advise for such a situation?

You can select "Sensor" and check out the Accelerometer and Gyroscope - as you move the phone around, are the displayed values changing significantly? The Gyroscope has a Selftest option. Basically, this is checking out the movement sensors to see if they are working.

Dial *#0*# to get into service mode and check out the hardware there.
Thanks for this tip! Found out the accelerometer was not working properly. Couple restarts later it started working again

Restart usually clears that for me, & make sure rotation setting is not off..sometimes accidently hit tile without realizing it.
