Err? Note 2 has glass screen (Gorilla glass 2 I believe but not fussed if proved wrong) = 1 tiny scratch after 2 years of use. S6 edge has glass screen (Gorilla glass 4 as listed on Cornings web site) =even more marks than previously mentioned in earlier post after 4 weeks of use. As also mentioned in earlier post, clear view case to add additional protection to screen ( which is currently being blamed by many as the cause of the problem). General use and transport of phones not changed so I think a fair comparison. Why you think I need a life skills lesson on how to see scratches on my windscreen has left me very puzzled. In fact, you comparing my windscreen glass to the God knows how many times more expensive glass on my phone which is claimed to be super tuff by the manufacturer is more akin to comparing oranges to a carrot. Different in every aspect but colour ( both good for your health of course). Very odd response indeed
That does suck that your screen is scratched, if I could I would wrap this thing up in bubble wrap. But, you seem to be in the minority as the majority of people are quite happy with their phones, the majority of Samsung edge phones were not scratched or I think you hear a whole lot more about it. And I don't think it has anything to do with you or the consumer laws more than it does the fact that you got a ****ty phone within 30 days And the manufacturer is going to do something to make it right or wherever you purchased it. As a matter of fact I think within the first three months of anything goes wrong with your phone Samsung, Best Buy, AT&T, wherever you got it from will replace it. I don't have any experience with the Note 2, and I never bought into the fact that guerrilla glass four was going to be perfect or close to indestructible. It's kind of like a really bad lethal weapon movies, I figured you could use the Mel Gibson metaphor, when they have to continue to go up in numbers and make you think that you're getting something better than lethal weapon three, it's all about marketing. After 3 Blackberries, 3 Samsung galaxies, two iPhone's, 2 iPad, I've never scratched the screen. I think somebody did point out the fact that there was a difference between phones that were made in Korea and phones that were made in China. As a matter of fact I saw it on more than one android site. This reminds me of when people were freaking out about battery usage and how quickly it would drain, at the end of the day I still have 12 hours without even putting it on power saving mode. Some people just got a really bad shipment, but that doesn't make the whole brand line subject to questions about the structural integrity.
I'm also not the only one on here commenting about taking your phone out in direct sunlight in order to really get it a good look at the surface. It just sucks, but you'll be getting a new phone, and the other 30 million of us will be completely enjoying ours and you will join us. Again, sorry your phone got scratched. Did you loan it to Bruce Jenner?

Cheers mate and good luck!
Now for the rest of you, go out and get yourself a screen protector! This phone is not going to crap out on you from internal heat or even dropping it. They have already updated and fixed many software issues to most people's liking, the biggest thing that is going to make people complain is the fact that this whole phone is covered in tempered glass. Glass! Protect it with something. It isn't that hard.
