Screen sensitivity

The touch screen of this Moto E5 Play will absolutely not respond when placed down on a flat surface such as a table top or desktop. It will only respond if being held in the hand. The power and volume buttons, on the other hand, work just fine no matter if the phone is being held in the hand or placed down on a flat surface.

It seems as though the pointer sensitivity wasn't set high enough.
