Screen shot on my LG Flex 2 doesn't work

I followed the instructions on this web site for a screen shot on my LG Flex 2 (hold volume down and power buttons down simultaneously). But that doesn't seem to take a picture, and eventually restarts the phone.

Does this indicate that my phone is defective? It's possible, as it's done some other "weird" things since I have had it (e.g., one evening, the "e-mail" app started opening the camera and not my e-mail. Restarting the phone fixed THAT problem).

Welcome to Android Central! It can be tricky sometimes. You have to make sure you're pressing both Power and Vol Down at exactly the same time, and you should only have to hold them together for about half a second. If nothing happens after a second, then you didn't press them at the same time.
