Screen shot using Google now?

I been reading a lot of articles that now Google always screen shots using the circle googlenow button, but j can't get it seem to work ;( anyone had any luck

I think the feature may have been a rollout, rather than being immediately switched on for everybody. For example, I have that feature on my 6P (still on 6.0), but not on my 5 (which is on 6.0.1). If you have the feature, you'll see a share icon at the lower left of the Google Now On Tap screen.

When I hold the Google now button it doesn't give me the share option

I don't have it either, 6P on 6.0. I tried it while viewing this thread, gave me music search results for "Sean Combs" because of @B.Diddy

I just recently gained the Share button in my other devices after an update to the Google app, so I think it depends on which version you have. My 6P's Google app is on version 5.7.14.19.arm64. But I signed up for the Google app beta program, so it's possible that this version isn't necessarily the same as the mainstream.

That's what I was thinking. I also have 6.0.1 without the Now on Tap share feature. I'll have to wait for the Google Now update

So I just found out in Google now settings that my Google now tap was disabled? After enabling it the Google on tap works now

Before you enabled it, were you getting any kind of Google Now On Tap options when you long-pressed the Home button? Or did it only show you the usual Google Now swipe-up logo?

When I would long press it would take me to the Google now page and now when I long press it goes to Google on tap and scans the page

Ah, that makes sense. You do have to opt in to Google Now On Tap. Glad you figured it out!

upgraded to 6.0.1 and still nothing... I REALLY don't like the volume down combination and it always lag behind my presses

agreed and I have the case from google which is great, but virtually impossible to take a screen shot.

Same here. But it's all good I'm exchanging my 6P for another one that is now $50 cheaper thanks to Google's new promotion. Keep impressing me Google!
