Taking screenshots requires the Android SDK on a PC and the Evo connected via usb in debug mode.

It's actually not as hard as it sounds. Do a search in these forums and you will find step by step instructions.

Not any more! "Shootme" app works without root on the evo! Just tested it, i'm stoked.

I found shootme yesterday, i forgot to turn it off and while walking all i hear is "*snap*, *snap*, *snap*" as it takes a bunch of black pictures. Very nice app though, way better than using the SDK
