it makes your kindle fire more responsive and sensitive, i use the super optimize setting which is good enough for me, it makes the screen feel like the ipad2

Enjoy:D

I just tried it, and saw the difference right away. The screen is MUCH more responsive (and believe me, I'm not one who's big on the placeholders effect). I may try tit on a setting lower than 'super optimize' and see if I get the same effect.
Thanks!

Oops - I meant "placebo effect" (damned autocorrect!)

it really works? how does it affect battery life. whats your average hours on battery life with and without this app with moderate to heavy use?

Yeah, I had my doubts, too, but it definitely works. The app description says it's designed only for the Samsung Galaxy, but if you read the reviews, many people have said it works on other devices as well.

This doesn't look like a bug fix. More a tweak of settings.

Super-optimized will probably give you a lot more accidental swipes, for example. But more control over your settings is not a bad thing, I guess...

I did not expect this to make much of a difference but when I change from defaults to super and back I can see a bit of improvement, not that I thought the performance was too slow before, but thought I'd give it a shot and it does appear to make things a little smoother.

new to the kindle world, have had a previous android account with a droid x. I no longer have android phone. how would i go about downloading this to my computer?
thanks for the help

SGS Touchscreen Booster, originally for Samsung Galaxy S not sure why it is called that when it seems many others have had plenty of success with it on other devices. It is not in a market that kindle can get to by default, I had to install it on my phone from android market then I backed it up and transferred it to the fire.
