Screen stays dimly lit when in standby

Not sure what is causing this but my screen stays dimly lit with a black screen when in standby. Battery life sucks now! Any help out there? Maybe a common issue? I'm Rooted with Honeycomb.

Seriously, you should really be using CM7.
