Screen Stimulus spazzing

First time posting here so forgive me. I have an ASUS tf300 and its been spazzing out. It is receiving touch stimulus even though there is nothing touching the screen. This comes in waves so once every few minutes I can't use it because it cannot discern my real touches from the phantom touches. During one of the times I could use it I turned on the visual touches. During these phantom stimulus attacks the screen is covered with white dotes flying around. I've tried factory resets and nothing seems to work. What is wrong with my machine?
