Screen Timeout Question

Every day I have to adjust my screen Timeout to 60 seconds, and each day at some point it reverts back to 15 seconds, which is far too short for me. Why isn't this permanent?

Are you using any apps that would have control over timeout settings? I use tasker and macrodroid which are automation apps that can change screen timeout. Check if any such apps are controlling your phone settings.
