Screen turn on automatically

Sometimes my S9 display switching itself on randomly, without i'm doing absolutely anything, and there are no notifications. I don't understand why. Any idea?

I'm not sure if Smart Stay can make the screen turn on when you look at it, but see if the problem goes away if you turn off Smart Stay (unless of course it's already off).

Sorry what is smart stay? I'm not English so I have to find the option in my language
In any case, the screen turn on when I don't look at it, so I don't think that this is the problem

Have you got Always on Display enabled? It will detect you moving your hand over the screen and light up

I don't use aod, and besides the screen turn on without i moving my hand. It turn on on its own even if I'm am at 5 meters away from it

It's one of your apps that is causing this to happen. I have the same issue with 3 of my phones. Not a big deal to me.

Well that is the hard part. The only way that is easy is when the screen turns on check to see what app you got a notification from. Mine happens with a shopping app that I use.

The problem is that I don't receive any notifications

It shows absolutely nothing! It's just like I pressed the power button to turn on the screen, only this. No notifications, no warnings, nothing at all
And it doesn't do this always, but from time to time

Did you try rebooting see if clears any glitches

I'd guess it's something to do with WiFi either connecting or disconnecting....
Possibly from power saving modes or just a setting you have

Here's mine for reference... Also like I said do you have any power saving modes enabled

I have the exactly same settings and the issues happen without any power saving enabled. I really don't understand what is the problem

The same time as I turn it on by pressing the power button. It's the exact same behavior like I press the power button, but it does it on itself
