Screen won't turn off when charging

My screen won't turn off when charging unless I turn it off myself and when I try to turn off background data like I did before, the market won't work.

Any ideas on what settings I need to change?

Try going to Menu, Settings, Applications, then Development. Make sure "Stay awake" isn't checked.
