When hitting the power button to turn on screen I notice sometimes it'll be at its brightness then dim. Does this on auto and manual brightness. Anyone else seen this?

If you inadvertently cover the light sensor it thinks its dark and dims the screen, you can have this happen by shading the sensor while in a bright light also, nothing wrong just working as it should

Sometimes I turn auto on and off and it adjusts a too dim screen even in my bright note3

Same here, no auto brightness on. When I hit the power button to wake up the screen, it's like the screen flashes bright before dimming to it's normal setting. Even after the recent update, it still does this.
