+1. Exactly.I've had the Flip 3, Flip 4 and now the Flip 5. I only had the prior two a year each and then traded in for the next model. So I can't give a long term report. My Flip 3 had no issues. The Flip 4 just before the Flip 5 came out developed a slight separation of the inside screen protector (factory one) in the hinge area. I believe this is fairly common. Samsung replaced it free of charge and I traded it in on the Flip 5 the next week (smile). No major issues in my opinion.
How old were they when it happened. Our two Flip 4s developed separation of the screen protectors at the fold. We traded them in that way and got full credit.
I wouldn't let the delaminating screen protector worry you too much. I know a flip 3 owner who still hasn't had delamination of the screen protector. Besides, Samsun will replace it free up to a year I believe.I am trying to figure out weather or not to keep the flip 5.
Actually, they will replace it after more than a year. I had my flip 3 for 2 years. It was probably around 15 or 16 months the protector cracked and started separating at the crease. Took it in and the protector was replaced free of charge. Worked like new. I would have keep the 3 but the trade in deal was too good to pass up for the 5.I wouldn't let the delaminating screen protector worry you too much.
