Screenshot Apps WITHOUT the Overlay

When it comes to tech stuff I am a luddite, I am looking for a Screenshot App that doesn't remain open, does not put an overlay on my phone, and when I close the app it closes until next need it

All I want is to Open Screenshot, take the shot, close the app without it taking up resources of any kind when closed

Most phones already do this. Just need to know what the 'gesture' or button combo for your specific device is for taking screenshots. Most will just take the screenshot, save it, done. Nothing else. Some phones, like Samsung's, will give you the option to edit the screenshot afterwards, but you can get rid of that or just hit the back button and it will go away.
