you know how the iPhone has that thing where you can capture a screen shot on the phone (say a text tread) and you can upload it to Facebook and stuff? is there a feature or app on android that can do that?
No Root Screenshot It is one of the few, and probably the best, screen shot apps for no root phones. I use it on my no root Dinc2 and it works fine.
I dont think any of the apps requires u to connect to the computer for it to work. It's just a simple screen shot and save as a JPEG or PNG depending on the app. Then, just upload to your favorite social site. I use Drocap2 for root users, as the name says you'd have to be roted for it to work. Altough there might be one available for non-rooted users. Just look for it in the market. Good luck.
Hi,
It looks like your are using the Samsung Epic. If you are, then you are in luck. "Screenshot It" from the android market will work on your phone, even though you are not rooted. You won't have to hook it up to your computer or anything like that.
I'm the developer of this application, so if you have any problems/issues, just shoot me an email and I'll be more than happy to assist.
I have a Sprint Samsung Epic 4G myself and have been trying to figure out an easy way to take screen shots on it for a while now with rooting or connecting to a computer. All of a sudden the strangest thing happened just this past Saturday and I didn't notice it until today. There is a picture in my Gallery in my "Camera" folder of a screen shot/capture of my phone from this past Saturday at 11:32pm. I have absolutely NO IDEA whatsoever how I somehow did this or how it got there, but clearly it somehow happened. Now I just really wish I could figure it out. And now I do know it must be possible without being rooted or without any kind of an app. If anyone can, please advise!!!
-Thank You!
I just rooted 2 days ago, but before I did, I had this happen at least twice in the 8 months I owned the phone unrooted. There was suddenly a screenshot in my Camera folder. The first time, it was a screenshot with WeatherBug open - I thought maybe I had downloaded the picture accidentally from the market or something, But then it happened again a few months later. I researched but never figured out how it happened. I know this doesn't help, but at least we both know now that we aren't going crazy![]()
You actually took a screen capture by pressing in between the home button and back button at the bottom of your phone. by doing so you can do an easy capture with out downloading any apps. Hope this helps![]()
