Screenshot issue.

I like the built in screenshot function on the Charge. Works great / high quality, but I keep having the same problem. I can take a screenshot of my 'Home' screen with no problems, but I can't take a screen shot from within Handcent, Weather Bug, and other programs, without the program (Handcent) closing and going back to the 'Home' screen. To me, that defeats the point, or seriously limits the usefulness of the screenshot. What's the point if all you can screenshot is your home screen?

so my question is.. is there a way around this that doesn't involve installing another app? Something I am doing wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.
