screenshot on lg g3

When I swipe from the home position to take a screen shot, the Google bubble come up. I cannot take a screen shot by using the swipe method. It was working before, but has recently been doing the Google bubble thing. Any suggestions???

Welcome to the forums. Does volume down and power at the same time work?

It took me a while to get the volume down and power to work for a screenshot. I found that I was just clicking the two and nothing would happen. You have to hold them both down for about 2 seconds and it should screenshot.
