Screenshot with G6

[Android Central Question]

All tips for taking a screenshot with my G6 recommend holding down the power key and the volume 'down' button simultaneously. Seems like this used to work ... but no longer.

Advice, please.

Thread moved from AAQ. I’m assuming, although you haven’t stated, that you mean the LG G6 rather than the Huawei Ascend G6.

Try pressing the power button first and then immediately the vol down button.
It might not work if the vol down key was recognized first

The Capture+ option on the notification panel is the best one to use. Just add it if you don't have it yet.

I too would recommend this manoeuvre.
