Screenshot

This is the easiest way, just go to the settings and activate the screenshot palm motion.
You could also install xposed framework and have a screenshot option in the power menu.

The screenwrite from the spen button is my favourite. You don't have to write anything and you can set up to load to dropbox or other cloud service.

I love this feature! I annotate articles from web pages this way. Such a life saver.

To answer OP's question, press the power and home buttons at the same time.

Are you on kitkat, because the pressing the power and home buttons at the same time does not work for me?

It works on JB, but it is a pain to use with Bodyglove case I have on the NoteScreenshot_2014-10-13-07-47-25.jpg
I have to remove it to do Screenshot using power/Home combo.

Thanks for the help. . I did get home button and power button screenshot to work but you have to really hold the buttons down. I prefer the other methods!
