Is there a way to take a screenshot on the G1 or any Android device??

I believe the device has to be rooted in order to load a screen shot app.

openhome has a screenshot feature, it says to hit the cam button altho if you hit the menu button then more screenshot is an option. It stores the shot in the root of the sd card.

Or you can download the Android SDK and use that to take screen shots. But then you have to have your device connected to your computer to get the capture.
