screenshots not working?

Can't do screen shots. Is there a setting that I have to turn on. I've tried the power and home button simultaneously and screen swipe. neither work.

In s6 u gotta swipe side of you hand on the screen from right to left.

There is a setting in motion n gesture under phone setting for screen capture. But it does not work for DRM protected contents i.e. banking apps
